Spring break is finally here...one of the perks of being a teacher. I celebrated the first night of spring break by making some coffee, staying up late, and making 4 bunny wallhangings to give to my girly guests (mom, sis, cousin, & mother-in-law) on Easter. I really liked the way they turned out. Each one is a little bit different from the other - different buttons, stitching on the applique, and fancy stitching on the border (there are two different types of tulips and a kite tail). Hopefully I can spend some time during spring break to do some stash busting...
Your mini bunny quilts are so gorgeous!! I like how you used different machine embroidery stitches - my machine also has a great library of stitches, I really must have a go at using them like you do!!
Easter break here too! My son has another week of holidays left, after already having one week prior to Easter!! We've done the beach thing, now at home just "chilling" as my son calls it!! I call it SEWING!!
I caught the quilting bug in 2009 from my mother-in-law. When I'm not quilting or teaching 4th grade, I enjoy traveling with my husband, taking pictures, going to Sox and Bears games, watching TV, and reading.
